We understand the space and what you want to achieve.

Here’s where we get under the skin of the brief – who you are, what you need, building overview, market analysis and all the important need-to-knows that can impact progress.

As part of our research and to understand you as a business or organisation, in order to provide a design to meet the objective, the first steps of the Design Phase are known as Workplace Consultancy and creating and defining the brief.

Essentially we aim to understand where you are now but also where you want to get to, and to make sure our thinking will consider your vision.

At this stage we are getting to know the building and any secrets it may be keeping, as well as any client must-haves, is essential. The brief will be finalised and your Director will handpick the team to deliver it.

It all starts with an idea. Working together along the journey we have begun with a site strategy and then demonstrated with block plans, mood boards and interior design concepts. Once the design workshops are completed we will input all this data into the CAD space plan along with furniture and finishes. This is the point where we will present our proposal to you.

While the concept design is being reviewed, our technical design team will progress the detailed and working drawings. Detailed specifications will also be developed to reflect the documents provided by the concept design team.

At this concept stage, you’ll receive an outline proposal, along with preliminary costs and timelines. Development of the outline design and communication of this development through a series of meetings, the reworking of the scheme until satisfactory sign-off. You can see some of these in our Design section.

Phase 3 would normally result in a sign off process agreeing with key points to enable the project design process to progress into scheme design and then detailed design. Use of mood boards, 3D visualisations, photographs, material samples and other appropriate means to conduct “image” sessions to closely define the desired aesthetic and to ensure that there is a consensus.

Throughout the whole design process, the rest of the team are always involved –

Pre-contract managers ensure designs are deliverable on time and create the best value and furniture consultants’ works hand-in-hand, recommending how design and productivity can be enhanced with the best and latest office furniture around.

We are firm believers that design without substance can fail an organisation and the people that utilise it. A cohesive project team will enable all to realise their true potential – this is our ultimate goal. Our team have designed many spaces and they are suitably proud. You can see some of these in our Delivery section.
